Plextor question

I just got myself a Plextor 12x10x32 from the FS/FT forum. I burned an audio CD quick and had no trouble doing that. Then I tried to burn a RedHat 7.1 ISO. It's got to about 7% done and then the "Used read buffer" in Nero went from 98% to 0%. Everything just seemed to slow down. Anybody know why this would happen? It does the same thing while I try and write to a CDRW. Is there a firmware upgrade or something I may need? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong in Nero? Any ideas?

I had the same prob with Nero on a Sanyo scsi drive. It would copy audio CD's but would not properly write data cd's. The latest version of Nero, dated last week, fixed my problem.

I downloaded the newest version of Nero and the newest firmware for the burner. The "Used read buffer" still falls off at around 7%. Is it suppost to do this on ISOs? Maybe I got a bad download of RedHat? Please help!
