Plextor PX-755SA and MSI 975x Platinum

The 975X Platinum isn't on Plextor's compatibility list, nor is it on the INcompatible list. There are several other boards that use the ICH7 southbridge, however, including a couple of Asus 975x boards. Does anyone have the MSI 975x and this drive? Just trying to make sure the drive will work before shelling out $100+ for it.
