Plextor PX-716a and SATA Adapter

Looking to get rid of further cable clutter and I was curious to see if anyone had tried this device.

SATA Adapter

I own two IDE PX-716a burners and I would to try these out. Anyone have an luck?

I've used the 716A and wasn't impressed. Poor quality burns and very picky on media. YMMV.

You might need a firmware upgrade.
I have the 712A, and I didn't like it before.
However, after I upgrade to 1.07 firmware. Wow!
