Recently bought the PX-W1610TA model and just copied a CD okay. Tried to compile another in Nero 5.5 and it froze. Checked in My Computer and the Plextor was no longer recognised by Windows ME. Reboot and it picks it back up, but keeps doing this. Checked connections are okay. Removed from System properties and rebooted.
It also makes a lot of noise when being accessed - Is this normal?
