Plextor messed up on me!

i have a ide burnproof plextor 12/10/32a drive.

and i was burning an mp3 cd.....and it spit out a coaster!!!!!

Nero is respectable software, but I dunno if it's burn-proof capable. Try Blind write/read...

Did you have "Burn Proof" on? If you weren't using the wizard, it can be turned off I think.

Anyway, I've had a coaster or two with my Plextor 12/10/32a out of like 65...but one was that my computer was about to crash anyway and the other I don't remember what happened...I think I tried running a really memory intense program at the same time- usually, I just go get something to eat or go to the bathroom for those 6 minutes.

One coaster is not the end of the world...it happens to the best of us!

I've never made a coaster with my Liteon burn-proof drive.

Make sure it's BURN-Proof version and it's enabled.
