Well, if Plextor is no longer going to bring out new scsi burners, then my next burner will be a non-Plaxtor.

My 8x20 Plextor is still working fine, but when someone makes a scsi burner at 24x or faster, then I'll upgrade.

i havent heard of one. i have the 12/4 w/o burnproof [like i need it] and its great. ide users need to experience scsi before justifying ide. ide sucks. so much cpu. u can copy 2 cds at the same time and do whatever, no lag. =)
