Plextor Firmware 1.04 for 12/10/32

Can i use the Plextor 1.04 firmware for the 12/10/32A on my Plextor 16/10/40A....would it destroy my Plextor if i did it?

Anybody knows what version of the firmware of the plexwriter 12x10x32S (scsci) can backup protected cd with Safedisc2? Thanks.

Seems foolhardy to flash any CDRW with mismatched FW...might be a difficult RMA also. Course, OEM versions may work given same model.

Well I wouldn't be too Foolhardy to flash my plextor to 1.04 which will allowed me to copy SafeDisc II CD as oppose to newer firmware updates which won't allow you to copy SafeDisc II CD.
