Plextor Dead?

I have a plextor W2410A, about 10 months old, and it just quit burning.It comes up with "power calibration error" in clonecd and nero.I just made a cd,then started to make another one and it quit.Is it dead? I`m trying to find my box and receipt now.Guess i`ll go with a liteon if it`s gone, it still reads fine.
 
have you tried a different make of media?
if the same happens then most likely its RIP time.
guarantee for the plextor should be 1 year so if they rma it you might get a x48 model instead!
 
I had a 12x10x32x SCSI Plex that started giving me that "Power Calibration" error and when I called Plex tech support they told me to RMA the burner.
