When I bought my Plextor 12x10x32 burner I was under the empression that CD Res-Q came with it. Turns out you just get a discount coupon to purchase it. I've always heard it was free with the purchase of a plexwriter.

Is there a freeware version of this program?? Or did they just take the same one and start charging for it?

I want to image my harddrive directly to the burner but if I have to purchase a program to do it should I get CD-resQ or something else??

Thanks

If you have to buy it then go with ghost 2001. It does the same thing, has better options and ceates a boot disk for you.

CDRESQ basically is norton ghost v6
