Plextor 716SA slow to open?

Is your tray slow to open or rather quick? I just got mine tonight and it is rather slow to open. Any ideas if this is normal or if it may be broken?

Maybe the "quiet" mode is turned on in Plextools? Change the setting back to normal, if it is.

You can adjust it to different speeds via plextools.
