Be careful on Plextor rebates. I filed for one a short time ago and got a postcard from them yesterday saying that my rebate was "declined for the following reason(s):
*Purchase price must be at least $155 to qualify"
I checked the rebate form and it didn't say anything about a minimum purchase price in the Terms and Conditions.
How many others out there have gotten this reply?

If that's true, they can't deny the rebate. You may have to write a couple of letters to Plextor and/or the rebate center but you will get your money if you demand it.
