Plex Manager and LiveWare - worth anything?

I've got both of these programs running in the background and while it doesn't seem to slow anything down much, they don't seem to be do anything to improve stuff, either. Should I just ditch them? If so, how do I uninstall LiveWare without uninstalling the SB drivers?

I have Drive Copy and Nero, which basically makes Plex Manager extraneous correct?

you don't really need PlexManager if you already have other programs doing the samething for you. I never used it (never like anything that's running in background)

I've managed to live without Plextor Manager without any problems.

If you uninstall LiveWare though, you won't be able to control EAX and MIDI soundfonts. What you can do is do a custom install of LiveWare, and not install all the stuff like Showcase, Tours, and all the truly useless stuff....that way you only need to install about 40MB of bloat, rather than 400MB.

I have PlexManager installed because it is required to run Plextor CDRESQ. (Norton Ghost for Plextor) I just disabled PlexManager from Startup.
