Hey there ,

i´m thinkin about getting a GeCube X800 Pro VIVO(video in video out?) Limited Edition(tha one wit CS:0).

see i´d like to know if i will be able to have the 16 pipelines enabled with this one.
and can i flash it to a x800 xt plat?(hard to do?) have u done it?

is GeCube x800 a good card ,is it Ok?

THANKZALOT !

NewEgg sells a full Sapphire XT for "only" $460. Unless that GeCube is much cheaper, I'm not sure I'd risk the mod anymore.

Why'd you want to risk modding a $450+ video card, potentially ruining the card, voiding your warranty, or just causing artifacts? Seems a bit stupid to me. 😛

Seriously. You can get the full fledged XT for only ~50 dollars more. I think that the GT is worth it over the ultra but there is not point in spending near the same amount of money for a card that might not even work correctly aterwards.

Pete i agreee with ya 100%. Not worth it!

Either get the XT or go with a NU or GT from Nvidia. No im not comparing the cards at all so no flaming!

Just throwing it out there, but last time I checked, the Sapphire XT was 520-560 on newegg. I had a platinum edition ordered from cdw for 460, but they called me this morning and said they did not know when they would get one in..."could be days, weeks, months," so I cancelled it. I decided that I am just going to go with the 6800 GT instead. Personally, I would just buy the card that you want, don't risk the warranty when it is still hard to find one for under 450. The 6800 GT is 388 on newegg (eVGA), comes with Far Cry too. Good luck!

ATI is struggling to get their cards to vendors because they are giving a very large percentage of them to Dell. nVidia has been doing better from what I read because they don't have any agreements like that, so they can get their cards are becoming accessible MUCH MUCH faster. Anyways, I am not a 'fan' of either, so when it comes to the actual cards, you can't go wrong either way. It may just be harder to get one brand then it is to get another.

The card you want is the powercolor vivo..it's a 100% xtpe vivo deal from reading here

$425 at gameve

Don't listen to the chruch ladies. Overclocking/flashing will allow you 16x12 everything maxed in farcry what they are sugessting won't. And they won't give you vivo either.
