Christ, these people are stupid. What Constitutional basis is there for an income tax?
"Amendment XVI

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

While technically, if you reallyyyy stretch it, the income tax might be illegal (ammendment was done wrong arguements, yadda yadda)...(and congress doesn't really have the power to delegate the ability to coin money to a private bank, etc, etc).. You can make the arguements, but it is a *large* stretch. It won't work on court.

In reality, it's been accepted as the law of the land for almost a century, and that takes precedence over any iffy legal arguements that might be made.

I don't think those people have their facts right (I watched minutes 20-25). An income tax was completely legal before the 16th Amendment but what the 16th Amendment did do was remove the apportionment requirement that would have hit the income tax due to it being a direct tax. I don't see how you think the income tax is illegal. I'd prefer not to watch a nearly two hour video that I think is BS so if you could explain it to me here, that would be much quicker.

Edit: Actually reading up more about it on Wiki, it looks like the courts had ruled that tax on income derived from labor was considered an excise tax but tax on income that came from interest, dividends, etc. was considered a direct tax. The 16th Amendment changed the requirement for apportionment for income taxes.

All this is immaterial with growth of the Ummah. Islam prevents RIBA (intrest and taxes) nixing about half his worries. Islam also prevents fiat currency, opting instead for gold Dinar, finally nixing federal reserve conspiracies.

A good reason to move to Europe eh? ;)

So Congress made an amendment to give itself authority to do what it never should have done. That is nothing new; our government has been growing and taking away our liberty through their expanding power for over 200 years now.

This trend is indefinite and does not end in taxation. You?ve just witnessed the beginning through taxes and patriot acts, far worse atrocities have yet to come.

I agree we are just slaves. Don't pay you property tax they sieze your house. Don't pay state or Federal taxes they seize everything even cloths on your back and fit you with an orange jump suit and you must prove innocence to get it back if they havnt sold it already. Best thing to do is play by rules though and work for change within the system.. revolting, not filing is just suicidal, especially if you other people to look out for. I do believe government is controlled by a minority of elite of one worlder bankers.. they present candidates you are allowed to vote for, they control the legislative agenda and, judges and law enforcement. Democrats and republicans are identical for all practical purposes... What the don't control is jury box, yet, so use it wisely. I personally would never convict someone of tax evasion, drugs, prostitution, gun possesion or anything else totally against spirit of constitution.

SCOTUS ruled about a half dozen times that the 16th Amendment "grants Congress no new powers of taxation."

SCOTUS has also ruled against the judgements of the lower courts. Lower courts are the ones that push the tax agenda of the IRS and rubber stamp it.

Because of the SCOTUS rullings lower courts have a habit of not allowing SCOTUS rullings to be entered into evidence. That's against the Constitution yet it happens daily.

the only reason we have a income tax is to pay the federal reserve which happens to be a PRIVATE bank the loans we take out. its also f*ckedup that the federal reserve ditacted what interest rated the country is going to pay.

I live in a part of the country that has been quite depressed since the early 80's. Half the bars in town have closed up, but we have twice as many banks, credit unions and S&L's as we had back then.

Almost all of them have expanded greatly and/or built new building too.
