that has more to do with the fact that he ran a red light than the fact that the other guy was riding a bike.

lucky lucky guy, he got thrown to the side of the truck. You can see him trying to get off the bike right before he gets nailed too.

uhhh so when you get rear ended at an intersection, the guy is running red light rather than not paying attention to whats in front of his ass?

The pickup driver was CLEARLY distracted by the cop and not paying attention.

I hope he was jailed.

Coming from a ex-bker point of view the cop and the driver of the truck is at fault. It is quite obvious the driver of the truck was paying more attention to the cop pulling that guy over then if front of him. If the cop wasnt there the driver of the truck would of noticed the red light (because the cop not being there he would of been looking ahead). If I was the cop and knowing that drivers would pay attention to me I would of asked to move the pull over further up past the light.

As far as the guy moving the biike I always when riding was always looking all around me and in my mirrors. Would of most likely seen him coming down on me that I would of floored the bike and blown the light then to get hit.

I feel sorry for that guy though. One of the rushes I used to get riding a bike was not just the wind and open air but also the near death crashes I had to avoid on a daily bassis because no one pays attention to bike riders.

Agreed. The cop is in NO WAY at fault for this. It is the responsibility here of the pickup truck driver to be aware of his surroundings, and he clearly was not.
