If you're using win2k, and you're complaining about "coarse" looking fonts, try this:
Go to "display properties" > "Effects" and check the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" box. That will make them nice and smooth. It will also smooth out other text in windows. I'm not sure if XP has this same option.

rh71: yes, you can specify specific fonts, but it's pretty worthless since you have no idea whether the user has that font installed, and if they don't, the browser just uses a default font.

Also, I added a new link in the first post that shows Site 2 with more content.

I'm using 98, and if I wasnt so lazy, I'd try and do that. But most likely people arent going to have that on, or want to change it, so it still appears grainy to some people.

And I looked at the page with content from site 2. I like how the content (product listings) is always centered, but why dont you have the navigation bar automatically centered too? To the right of 'SPECIALS' I see a lot of blue space, which imo would look a lot better if the navigation buttons were centered, instead of aligned on the left.

Site 1 because I like the sidebar and because it looks better onthe pocket pc I am browsing from right now
