Nice site. I would be interested in doing something like that. Is there a server in your home you are running off? or are you doing this off of hosting space, say like ripplehost? finally, what books could I read to learn how to do something like this?

Well I played with it for a few minutes and because the structure of the select statement it makes it hare to do anything harmful. bad news is if you put a single quote in the search box it shows you the select statement. its an easy fix but if this is just a script you downloaded maybe look for a newer version? Login was the only other place i found with a textbox input (without logging in) and that corrects for sql injection there.

webhosting from addaction.net. if you want to create a site like this from scratch, you'd probably have to find books on PHP and SQL. otherwise, there are premade scripts out there that you can download and install.
 
Heh, I'm coding a site from scratch to try to make a portfolio of pretty much everything I know... and I thought of doing the same thing as you did when i give public access.

btw, the site looks great and loads fast
 
I saw that I can download the code you used for your site. Am I allowed to change the code to tailor my needs. IE ---> change the name from Noah to Ryan?
