i am planning to replace my 3 month old celeron system for a duron system. i want a duron 650 or 700 and an abit KT7 RAID board.

i was planning to go with http://www.paragon-tech.com/ but they are out of stock.
i was thinking of atacom.com but according to reseller ratings (i am in the same situation):

The only problem I experienced was with a shipping address. I use a dedicated debit card soley for online purchases. Atacom requires that a shipping address that differs from the billing address be on file with the issuing institution.

i was also considering: http://ocz.safeshopper.com/ but i've heard bad stuff about them.

any other suggestions? thanks

wait for the price drop.

keep in mind

a tbird is about 100mghz faster than a duron and sometimes even more so due to its cache.

Average overclock for duron 600 = 841mhz from overclockers.com

So if you get a lousy chip that does 850 only, you'll be stuck with something about as fast as a tbird 750 (non clocked).

think about that.
