Ok, Never mind I found this at the bottom of the article.
Satire Alert!!!

Andy Borowitz is a comedian and writer whose work appears in The New Yorker and The New York Times, and at his award-winning humor site, BorowitzReport.com.

Mea Culpa

Complete article here:

Some Excerpts:
But Mr. Obama's decision to use complete sentences in his public pronouncements carries with it certain risks, since after the last eight years many Americans may find his odd speaking style jarring.

"Every time Obama opens his mouth, his subjects and verbs are in agreement," says Mr. Logsdon. "If he keeps it up, he is running the risk of sounding like an elitist."

A quote from SP on the subject:
"Talking with complete sentences there and also too talking in a way that ordinary Americans like Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder can't really do there, I think needing to do that isn't tapping into what Americans are needing also," she said.

I don't read the Huffington Post so I don't know if this is. I can't believe that SP would have actually said the above. I didn't think she was a good choice for VP, and I have a hard time believing she speaks that poorly.

it may harm him in the eyes of willful idiots

there is some truth to that, but he shouldn't be basing his language off of them

Proper English is the Devil's work.

Someone needs to recharge their sarcasm meter. ;)

Hint # 1, posted at the end of the aritcle about the author:

Andy Borowitz is a comedian and writer whose work appears in The New Yorker and The New York Times, and at his award-winning humor site, BorowitzReport.com.

Hint # 2, the "Sarah Palin quote" at the article's end is made up, for humorous purposes:

The president-elect's stubborn insistence on using complete sentences has already attracted a rebuke from one of his harshest critics, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.

"Talking with complete sentences there and also too talking in a way that ordinary Americans like Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder can't really do there, I think needing to do that isn't tapping into what Americans are needing also," she said.

Yeah, the quote from SP was just too much as I noted in my first comments.
I have amended the OP.

As I have seen many many times RTFA :D
