Please tell me my mobo supports this hard drive.

I have an ABIT IS7 socket 478 mobo. Does it support the Seagate Barracuda SATA hd? I can't seem to find the SATA sockets anywhere in the pictures on newegg.

Typo?

Uh... what? Why would that be a typo?

Regular SATA runs at 150MBps, or 300MBps for SATAII.

http://www.abit-usa.com/technology/serillel_new.php

What is this mean then? It says 1.5 GB/sec (150 MB/sec) there.

1.5Gbps (or ~188MBps) is the raw transfer rate of regular SATA. With error-checking overhead, you get 150MBps (or 1.2Gbps) data throughput. Bytes != bits.

It even says it right on the page you linked:

Core Logic
- Silicon Image Sil3611 Parallel ATA to Serial ATA Bridge
- Supports Serial ATA Generation 1 transfer rate of 1.5Gb/s (150 MB/s)
