Please tell EA to support widescreen resolutions!!!

Ugh...I don't believe EA gives a damn 🙂

Just download the "widescreen" support off somewhere. Lemme try to remember it, I'll post back if I do.

They should drop it from c&c 3 and give it to the bf series. I dont want people with widescreens to have a tactical advantage over me in c&c 3.

Just because your monitor isn't widescreen doesn't mean you can't play in widescreen resolutions.

QFT, its up to you to decide your fate grasshopper.

btw, op, meby you should change the thread topic in the ea forums from full screen to wide screen, just to be more specific. Just cus movies are classifyed as widescreen or "fullscreen"(meaning 4.3) and it may create confusion w/ people who want widescreen resolutions, but browse over it saying "wtf is this guy talking about, the game dose run full screen" Just a suggestion.

LOL. Its happen to a ton of people here today. The site has been hacked.

oh, lol, strange, i didn't even log in, i always am logged in so i posted, went back to read what i posted and dident know how someone had posted EXACTLY what i posted word for word

With Battlefield 2, EA maintained that they would not allow widescreen support because it would be "cheating". I assume the same policy is in place here.

BF2142 is a mod for BF2... developer didn't do anything but create new content creating and add new game rule

Next BF game with a new engine will have Widescreen support

BF2142 is a very low buget game 🙁 made in less than 12 months.

good excuse for using old tech/engine and giving it to the gamers again and again in the you know where.

unfortunately bf2 will have to hold me over until Frontlines - Fuel of War comes out in q3 of 07 as bf2142 is a disgrace to fps/warfare gaming. Frontlines is made by the people that orginally made dc for 1942 and bf2 up until it went gold and then got screwed over by dice. kaos studios = trauma studios....

lol... well... i guess that whole thing AT forums is having with user accounts is true... cuz i didn't make those posts up there, lol

edit: I made a post elsewhere on EAs lack of support for widescreen (how ODD is that, eh?) but what is EA going to do when the number of widescreen formatted monitors > 4:3 formatted monitors? start refusing to support 4:3 because users have an advantage of seeing more above and below?

the way they will probably fix it is to make everybody game in a 800x600 window 😀

Erf... no kidding bob >.<

there are NO good widescreen hacks for BF2. there are some that WORK, but they distort the image and actually chop off some of the field of view.

sportsc4, I thought about that, but figured more folks would READ the thread if I put "full screen", even if only in confusion.

It's the same kind of cheating as with people who have joysticks vs those without. 😛

I want my BF in Segeal Vision anyway. 😉
