Please Suggest The Better Monitor!

I need a LCD for my brother.
He is not a hardcore gamer but play casual games and MMORPGs.
He got Intel C2D E4500,9600GT and 2GB RAM.

I'm getting the following LCDs almost at same price from local hardware vendor.
Except the Dell(10% higher that other).

1.AOC 2236Vw
2.Samsung 2233SW
3.Dell S2209W

You can suggest other LCDs at that price range.
Though I have concern about that cos not many bran and model of LCDs available in my area.
And warranty is factor to me.
Thanks in advance..........

Seeing as how the Dell has a $60 instant rebate now I'd go with that. Listed at $139 for a new monitor.

Through Dell.com now you can get the S2409W for $199 after instant discount..that's about the price of the Samsung.

Dell sale prices change all the time though so when you are getting ready to make the purchase check daily there.

Edit: I know you said from a local hardware vendor...but Dell does have pretty reasonable returns/exchanges and perhaps your local vendor will match the online price.

For anyone who looks at their computer for more than a few hours per day I say get the best monitor that will fit on your desktop that you can afford (and that your system can handle of course.) If the monitor has a crappy viewing angle, uneven colors, poor connectivity, etc it doesn't matter how awesome your computer is.

Online shopping sucks in my country.....🙁
Though Dell have a good reputation and they prefer to deal directly to customer.
My friend have checked Dell price a week before the price was 10% more than other above listed two monitors.
If I send mail to Dell every week for price check will they reply or will be got angry on me ?

I'm not sure what sort of response you would get by email. I just know the last monitor I got from them seemed to change price at random times. In the case of a foreign country you may be best off asking you hardware vendor his return policy about dead pixels and such or if he'll let you compare them side by side. Dell's international shipping rates may offset the cost savings. I wish I could be more help.

On our country Dell Site(dell.co.in) prices are not mention on the site but you have to ask them by mail or query form.
Yea,I heard that Dell has better dead pixels policy than others.
BTW thank for your replies.....

Samsung flat panels kick butt. Can you get them locally?

Yea,Samsung available locally.
I have no idea about dead pixel policy of Samsung.
And hardware vendors never tell the truth to the customer.
They only care about their profit.

FWIW the Samsung is a 3D-ready (120Hz-capable) unit, unlike the other two...

But,Samsung 2233SW not support 120Hz.
120Hz support only for expensive models like Samsung 2233RZ.....
