Please suggest something for our new logo! :-( <---- getting nowhere

Sorry, I have no prize for this. lol But, if you like fishing, maybe I can convince the company owner to send you one of our sampler kits.

Okay, look at hawgbuster.com and look at the logo in top left. That's the best one I can come up with. BUT both viewers from ATOT and from the WebHosting Talk Forums, agree that we seriously need a new logo.

so give some ideas... i want something cool, something sophisticated. Something that plays on "hawg buster bait company". I'm not sure what I want yet, but I don't want plain words. We already have our text and font, I just need a logo.

so if anybody wants to kill a few minutes then work something up for me, but like I said I don't really have a money prize... but I think if we end up using yours then maybe I can get you a kit to try out - and we'd have to agree that we can use and change the design royalty free!

it can't be the website itself because it loaded fine for you the last time you look at it. probably the server - it's on an old cobalt server sharing a connection with whatever small uplink the local isp is using.

I think we're looking for something a little more sophisticated. That logo makes it look like a pig slaughterhouse. :Q

a type of logo like what Adobe, Mcafee, and Netscape use... simple, but profound, very clean and symmetric/geometrical

I'll also trade one logo for one gefore 4 or radeon a 8500 w/ a TV tuner on it.

I did work in graphic design for about 2 years, and know a lot about designing a logo. I don't know if you like my logo for my site or not, but I could make you something equally good or better, for a fair price.

I don't know how to fix car stuff i would rather have a geforce 4 than a logo

what education did you need for logo design, or did you just get really good at it on your own

Nor do I. But I've been in the field for some time already, and from what I've seen, those that have training can really be bad at it. Sure, they know the programs and tools very well, but they lack the talent and the eye for it. Of course that doesnt go for everyone that has training, but I've seen it alot.

I need some suggestions and ideas. This is boggling my mind. I don't want anybody to make the graphic for me, just some opinions on what can make it better. Or is the logo already okay the way it is?
