Thanks! I felt like it was a pretty good deal. The guy had it listed for $495 buy it now or best offer. I made a low ball offer to test the water and he countered with $300 (plus $20 shipping)... So I jumped on the deal. I've been very happy with the camera so far.

Congrats! I've been eyeballing the D50 as a present for my father-in-law. That camera was probably the best noise performer in the Nikon stable for a good while, still of course takes great pictures, and can AF with non-AF-S lenses. It's a good choice.
