My current motherboard stopped working so I'm looking for a new motherboard. A better one than H77 D3H and that will still support i5 3470

Thank you so much for your help

You'll probably have to look in our 'For Sale' sub-forum, or on Ebay for a used one. They have been out of production for a while now. I faced the same problem a couple years ago, and I couldn't find a new one that wasn't outrageously priced (2.5x times the original price I bought it at). I ended up just selling my CPU and moving to a Sky Lake build.

Thank you for your reply. I believe the motherboards with LGA 1151 or 1150 won't support i5 3470 right? As the structure is totally different

Correct. Your CPU will only fit in a LGA 1155 motherboard. It would have been sometime around Q2 of 2012, and production of those boards probably ended in late 2013, early 2014. You can still find used ones, but you will pay a premium to get one.

I've got two H61 board, I think. One in storage, and one here on a shelf, BNIB.

Note that the H61 boards, only had SATAII and USB2.0, no SATA6G or USB3.0.

If you're interested, and in the continental USA, I can add it to my FS thread, and you can check it out there.

Note that you need 25 posts, and you need to have your e-mail listed in your profile for FS/FT, to participate in that forum.

Best bet is ebay. I tried looking for an ivy bridge board a few months ago. Could not find a new one for a reasonal price. Bought a used intel board off ebay.
