I'll stop playing console games when they release the exclusives on the PC. The sad thing is, I don't even like most of the exclusives (I've played the demos of Bayonetta, Darksiders, God of War, Brutal Legend, Infamous, and Uncharted, but they didn't appeal to me :/).
I only have a ps3 too, I'd love to get a Wii for Nintendo exclusives (including gamecube support). The only system I might give a pass is the 360. I feel like I would enjoy Halo, but I don't know if it makes the system a worthy purchase. Gears of War sounds interesting too, but many of the other 360 exclusives do not grab my attention.

Please let me know when I can play every game I want at maximum settings available for a piece of technology without upgrading my hardware every year.

Please let me know when I can keep all my games on one program/console without having to use GFWL or Steam or Impulse or something else.

whereas one PC will hardly be able to run a game at medium settings and another could run it at the highest possible settings but cost about $500 more.
