I'd rather that they keep the heroes white, and then introduce new heroes written from the ground up as Asian, black, etc.

Meh. You know how they say that every film is a superhero film? Like, Miami Vice the movie is the perfect example of this.

The real problem is that the writers of these POC superheroes are themselves all white men. This is basically them massaging their guilt.

Iron Man should be Asian, but in the white male comic book writer mind, Asian males are still despised.
I don't think so. Amadeus Cho, anyone? i.e. the new Totally Awesome Hulk.
Using a special device in his left arm, Amadeus Cho can turn into a Hulk and has the same powers as Hulk.

Personally, I'm tired of all the forced diversity in supermarkets. Mexican, Asian, Middle Eastern aisles. What's wrong with good ol' American canned veggies, boxed dinners, white bread and cereal?

We need more Asians. Some people like Asian food, Mexican Food, etc. Do you complain about all the pasta sauce and noodles? That is all Italian. There is no American ethnic food unless you count Corn and Turkeys Deer, and maybe some catfish and trout and Salmon, Moose, caribou, etc if you are from more northern areas.

Its not FORCED. They do it voluntarily to appeal to their target market. Which by the way is a practice at least 100 years old and probably older.

Eh, they don't need new super heroes. Like Tony Stark could easily find a successor and it could just as easily be some Asian kid from MIT.

Oh no, the diversity! It burns!

Especially when "diversity" is put above all other goals, including an enjoyable story or even canon.

Its not FORCED. They do it voluntarily to appeal to their target market. Which by the way is a practice at least 100 years old and probably older.

They've tried this before - SJW college students have proven to NOT be their paying market, despite pandering to them.
