I don't read the posts in the Video section very often anymore, because every one I read ends up a pointless pissing match between people who villify AMD and people who villify nVidia. Please stop this! The products are only inanimate objects! They can't hurt you. That horrible AMD card will never rape your mom! That awful nVidia card will never murder your sister!
Is it really too much to ask that people start acting logically and actually discuss the merits and failures of components on here without getting personal. No one here should feel a personal stake in what card is percieved to do well or poorly (With a couple of exceptions, I guess.) It is really too difficult to wade through the massive FUD being spread in all of these threads about any product to get a good read on anything.
I was hoping I would do a better job at writing this to make it obvious how stupid the arguing really is, but I feel that I failed. Even so, I hope some of you take this to heart, and stop posting things if you don't have anything nice to say.
While the intent is noble, this is not a valid discussion regarding Video Cards.
