Please review my system build. Hopefully, this will be the final product!

Also, will this system be a good candidate for overclocking (considering the mobo, memory, and CPU/Heatsink)?? I know this is closer to top of line but I don't mind spending the money since I only buy a computer about every 4 years.

Looks solid, except that you may want to reconsider another brand of SATA HD, as Maxtors sometimes have compatibility problems.

Maybe Western Digital or Seagate.

Thanks. I've been back and forth on trying to decide what to do. Ribbon13 has been a big help.

Yes, I've already bought a set of speakers. I bought the Logitech z5300e.

Get an XP-90 (or XP-120 if it fits) instead of that Thermaltake. Then a 92mm Panaflo.

Agreed

Also, IMHO Maxtor drives are the scum of the earth. Yes, they're fast right now...but will they work in 2 years, probably not. I've owned about 3 maxtor drives in my life and all 3 have failed in 2-3 years. It's not just me either, several of my friends have had the same experience.

Personally, I'd go with raptors or get the new Seagate 7200.8 and enable NCQ.

Everything else looks great though! Enjoy!

BTW - That Tsunami case is wonderful. If I was you, I would consider getting another cheap cold cathode to really light it up inside. I have that case and went with a red cathode to accent the blue. Check my sig for the pics...it'll really change the look of your rig. :)

IIRC Venice will be available only with lower clock speeds (3500 tops).
Since you are going to OC I would go with 3200.

Beefy rig, but i would honeslty wait until the dual core stuff comes out later this year. For the type of cash you want to spend you should run state of the art.
