After looking, do I have everything I need to build a fully working PC for the first time?

Any suggestions to save money, or improve performance? Also, is the RAM compatible?

Thanks!

lol..where to begin? Ram cooler and HDD cooler are not necessary. Are you going to be overclocking? If not, I suggest you stick with the stock cooler. Otherwise, get a better one like the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 (cheaper and great for its price), TRUE, Tuniq Tower 120, etc. I would suggest one graphics card instead of SLI like the GTX 280 or 4870 x2 or something. Motherboard such as Asus P5Q Pro or Deluxe, Gigabyte EP45-DS3L or EP45-UD3R or something.

Turniq tower got bad reviews.

several games... like world of warcraft get zero performance increase from SLI
1 GTX 280 Superclocked is far superior.

additionally, i think SLI lacks dual monitor support currently.

another vote for the Xigmatek HDT's, the 1283 or the 964 are both good.

RAM coolers and HDD collers are just extra fans... they use up electricity, make sound, and provide now real benefit, unless your doing hot 15K scsi drives. A properly setup case will produce airflow cooling to these devices, without addon cooling devices.

He might have a point if it even had bad reviews on the egg, since you can never underestimate the power of stupidity, however its got a damn solid score. 91% 4-5 stars

Oh and to keep it on point, I agree with the suggestion about the coolers. I also wouldn't SLI but that is just me. Price / performance wise however, I read that 4850s in SLI is actually pretty efficient, and those are decently cheaper than the 260s if I am not mistaken.

I agree with the other folks here. I would pass on SLI, especially on a first build. You also should check the sticky at the top of the forum and fill in the questions. Things like budget, machine usage and what not really go a long way with getting good input.

Yea, multi-GPU (unless you go for 4870x2) is just not worth it. It's inefficient in many games and hard to upgrade unless you replace it all. Definitely better to go for a single, better card.
