Cool, I can't wait for the stable release! I'd try to get on the beta team, but I haven't posted over at the F@H community for ages, so I doubt they'd let me in on the beta group. Anyway, it will be great not having to run multiple clients on dual core systems. 😎
 
That's cool. I have a question though: Would Stanford prefer for us to use the SMP client or two separate clients like we currently are? I know everyone likes to get the higher points with the SMP, but I would rather use what provides better data for them.
 
Standford hesitates to answer questions like that. They say the next version of the clients will be accompanied by point scaling that will tend to give people max points when they give stanford max contribution to science

bottom line, Stanford doesn't make any clients available that they wouldn't be happy for you to crunch.
