I'm looking for some rock music where the bass carries the song, instead of the guitar. Something similar to Primus (sample1, sample2) would be awesome...

Thanks everyone!

😀

I saw bass-driven and immediately thought "Ride"

actually, this tune was the one that came to mind.

altho if you were thinking primus, it's probably not what you were looking for.

Definately Rush or Dream Theatre.

I just watched the Live at Bodukan DVD last night. John Myung is a freaking incredible bassist.

Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade(bass player from Primus)

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones(not the same type of music but Victor Wooten is the shizzle)

Gov't Mule(Their last CD has a bunch of guest bass players on it)

Their Live Art 2-CD set is amazing.

Death From Above

Like the white stripes, except they only use a bass guitar and drums instead of a lead guitar and drums.
