hello.. can canybody pls recommend a good router capable of handling multiple users/workstations like 20-25 computers or so?

also is there a way to minimize internet ping delay(ms) when some workstation are doin some video streaming? coz im in a lan setup and online games tend to "lag" when 1 or 2 other workstation are downloading stuffs or doin video streaming from youtube or something...

Thanks for the advance help...

Entry level Routers as well as residential Internet connettion were not build for such activities.

The best solution would be getting two or three Internet connetion and have few smaller networks.

How many concurrent users do you have? If it's typically three employees wasting time then a consumer router should be okay.

Although I do agree that something a little stronger is called for. Just don't buy a Sonicwall.

The problem isn't the LAN it's the WAN. Sounds like you need a faster Internet connection. You should also get a nice managed switch with VLAN capabilities so that you can logically partition your network and determine who needs the most bandwidth.
