please recommend me a router

right now i have a 3com Home Ethernet Gateway that i bought couple years ago. i recently subscribed to SBC dsl and am using their SpeedStream modem. the connection never drops when i plug the dsl modem straight into my computer. but when i go through the 3com router, it constantly drops...i'm getting fed up and want to buy another router but there are so many out there. i just need one with 4 ports. i was looking at the linksys BEFSR41 and BEFSX41. i dont know what the difference between the two is except the price. can somebody recommend a good one around 50-60 dollars? thank you much.

I recommend BEFSX41, it build in Firewall and VPN. I loved this router and very stable, easy config using web brower. You can get the BEFSX41 for $59.99 from Newegg
