Please recommend me a good Wireless router / print server.

Well, I've been battling with a Dlink DI-524 (wireless router) and Di-704P (used as print server) setup for a while now. It's worked on and off, but the DI-704P has finally blown up and this is my excuse to get one piece of hardware and clean everything up a bit.

I need a wireless router and print server, preferably theprint server would support USB and parrallel as the current printer uses the parrallel port but it's very likely to be replaced in the near future.

I've had a look at the DLink DI-824VUP and it looks like it may do the job, does anyone have any experience with it? Or wants to recommend something better (and a bit cheaper)?

Also, I have another question. Is USB 2.0 necessary for the print server? I understand the bandwidth differences between the 2 specs, but I can't really see the printer needing the full capabilities of 2.0? Can anyone shed some light on it?

The choices of these types of combos are very limited and thus the result is compromised.

The best solution for Network printer is to get a printer that is Network capable.

By getting such a printer, you ensure that all the printer capabilities are available over the Network. The general printer servers are usually covering straight simple printing, and many times would not work with the more ?exotic? capacities of the printer.

Network Capable Printers start at $150 (less on sale).

Getting a network capable printer allows you to get the best Wireless Router as per your Wireless needs.
