Hello all :)

I just purchased a NF7-S, and a Barton 2600+. I'm not really in to overclocking, but someone recommended that I should at least up the fsb to 200mhz because the processor can usually handle it with no problem at all. I've read of people doing this, and even still using the stock HSF. Providing that I would be able to up the fsb to 200mhz, I would rather use an aftermarket HSF, just to keep temps low. Can someone recommend one that isn't overkill? Remember, I'm just upping the fsb to 200mhz to run 1:1 with some pc3200 ram. Also, someone recommended the Speeze FalconRock, anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks in advance

Thermaltake is poop in my opinion... check out ThermalRIGHT's copper ones... the SK-7 is an old cheap good one that I still use with my Mobile Barton at 2.48 GHz. You can get newer, better ones like the SLK-900 or whatever... but I wouldn't pay over $30 for one. A nice 80 or 92 mm fan should do fine as well. I use a Panaflo 80mm fan.

I have a SLK-900A on my Barton 2500+ @2.2GHZ...43/49
with my old HSF I was seeing 53/60....I can run toast without it ever getting above 49...and that is after 15-20 minutes.

I have a 92mm fan on it and it is MUCH quieter than my old set up...several times I walked into the room and didn't think the computer was even on.

I have a CoolerMaster HHC-001 heatpipe on my CPU... awesome cooler.. I had an Aero7+ for a while, but it just didn't work as well as the HHC-001. I'd recommend it.
but there are plenty out there that are good.

i enjoyed my Volcano 12 for awhile but i had to upgrade due to its noise. if your not going to OC much its a great, quiet cooler but will still offer GREAT OCing potential.

I'd suggest a vantec aeroflo, great HS+F for about $25. It w/b more than enough for 3200 speeds. Easy to install.. etc.
