Please recommend good LED dimmer

I recently had an electrician put in 8 recessed lights and dimmer switch in my living room. They used Phillips BR30 (13W) indoor soft white flood LED dimmable bulbs, controlled by one Lutron Skylark 150 Watt CFL/LED Dimmer. They make a noticeable buzzing noise, sounds the same no matter what level of brightness the switch is set at.

As a test, I took out all but one LED bulb, and listened to the noise coming from it. I then put that bulb in a socket with a regular on/off switch, and it was much quieter.

Should I try a different LED dimmer switch? Which one would you recommend?

You could just have a bad dimmer. If it's making a buzzing noise I honestly would not want to continue using it. You could be literally be playing with fire.

Check Phillip's manual or site online what their bulbs are compatible with. They usually state which dimmer's they've been tested with. The same goes for the dimmer. I've only had experience with Lutron and Leviton. They test which LED lights.

However, even if both the LED and switch manufacturer verify compatibility you still might end up with other problems. With my lights they're fine 95% of the time, but 5% it will sometimes vary brightness like it's flashing. Luckily in my case I just change the dim a bit and it goes away.

By the way my dimmer isn't a LED/CFL dimmer, it's a regular dimmer attached to dimmable LED recessed lights.
