Hi;

I need a external hard drive to backup:

2 desktops(200gb and 150gb)
1 laptop (100 gb)

all running win 7 pro 64bit
I'll likely use win 7 backup program instead of proprietary
I need to create system image of the 3 pc's and occasional incremental backup
want usb 3.0
something that works well--WD or Seagate 1 gb or more
I would like to purchase from amazon(prime shipping and NO tax)

Thanks in Advance!!

What about using a network-connected drive, over a gigabit network it's pretty handy and you don't have to carry it around as you go from computer to computer. I think there are versions that can connect to the network and also connect to USB?

I have a D-Link DIR-655-1 usb-would that work?

also i'm trying to keep this as simple and cheap as possible for now.
