I purchased a 7950x and 4 x 32gb of G.skill Flare X5 5600 cl36, but need to know what is like the go to motherboard these days.
I was looking at the Gigabyte x670e Aorus Master , MSI x670e Carbon , and the Asrock x670e Taichi or Carrara.
I don't care about over clocking at all and need the system to run cool and it has to be stable as can be.
Hoping to run at 65w mode 24/7 if that helps at all?
Also I have several Team group 2tb m.2 Gen 3.0 x 4 ssd's and was wondering if I can use these on any of these boards?
Thanks for any help in advance!!

Edit - I forgot to mention that I plan to use air cooling - Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black ED. So will need this to fit one of these boards..

Why do you need an X670e board? With the requirements you listed a B650 board would work fine. I'm partial to MSI myself. I planned on getting the B650 Carbon, but went with the Edge as I did an all white build. Your NVME drives will work fine in the new board.

I may be in the market for a B650 soon as well, to replace my X370. Good luck with whatever you pick!

Side note... DDR5 prices not as bad as I figured.

Nope not at all bad , I snagged my 64gb kit at newegg for $239 during the valentines day week special thing that was going on along with my 7950x which I got for around $ 549.. I just cant decide on a stinking motherboard. Prices are out of control when it comes to all next gen motherboars though.

Hence my response about looking at B650. X670 only gives you some additional Gen 5 NVME slots or extra PCIe slots and 10Gb Ethernet. What did you think about the MSI Carbon B650 board?

To be totally honest here, most if not all of the b650 boards not having post code displays and missing bios flash back and bios reset is killing me and making a b650 choice very hard for me.

They have LEDs for CPU, RAM, and VGA. I've used both the MSI B650 Edge and the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX and they both have BIOS flashback.

I actually like the look of the Edge more so then the Carbon, but the Carbon looks to have slightly more features. Wonder if MSI plans to drop a B650 force version?

Any one know if there will be more b650e models released or is this it ?
I am really liking the B650 Mortar Matx board. The only caveat is its only pci-e gen 4 and there is no gen 5 at all on the board.
