Please recommend a motherboard

Bought a Dell dimension 3000 before I realized it didnot come with a AGP or PCI-e slot. I am going to take the Pentium 4 Processor (3GHz w/HT Technology and 1MB cache) and 1GB DDR SDRAM(400MHz) out and build my own system because I'v already got a spare ATX case in hand. My question is what kind of motherboards I shall choose for a budget like 100 bucks. Shall I choose one with AGP slot or one with PCI-e slot?

First off, does your spare ATX case have a high-quality power supply with at least 350W available? Since Dell often uses power supplies with non-standard wiring to their power plugs, you don't want to try re-using the PSU from the Dell (if it would even fit an ATX case) until you've verified it's "normal."

Next, here is a motherboard-selector guide that may help you weed out the non-Prescott-compatible boards, at least.

yeah, I got a good power supply with my ATX case. And Thanks for the information you provided for the motherboards. I will check it out now. However I do want some recommedations from our anand members because most of them are profesional and may have some good or bad experience.
