If you want a futureproof 4K setup without a dedicated GPU you are waiting for Skylake at best. Integrated graphics simply aren't there yet.

If one wants true 4k its available with displayport but that does not carry sound, so that's that. Stand alone video cards is the only option.

They don't have the needed decoders for 4K HEVC content, which is the future of 4K.

Right now it's GTX 960 or bust.
