Please recommend a good set of speakers

I'm looking for a nice set of speakers for $150 or less.

I'd like something that can be connected to both the PC and TV to watch DVDs and stuff.


These seem to be good, but I wonder if there's anything better for the price.


Also, do speakers like this have a "audio in" port for outputing music from a regular stereo or an ipod?

If you're going to be trying to hook up a DVD player, I would suggest getting a set with digital inputs. I know it's over your budget, but the Logtech z-5500s would have a digital input your your DVD player as well as the 5.1 channel analog input you need to use your computer.

The z-5300s aren't going to be able to hook up to a DVD player well unless you have one that does 5.1 analog output, and even then you're going to have to be switching wires manually for the different sources.
