It's not offensive to me. It's just that if I did the same thing I'd get the infraction.
If it's a rule, I'd like to see it. Years ago, a certain admin named Derek Wilson removed the language filter for most words, as I remember. BTW, I'm no longer an admin, but admin emeritus, which means past admin. Still, if you can point me to where I am not supposed to use those words, I'd like to see where it's written. I'm not here to break rules.

Ok, I get it, although it's kind of vague. 😉
Please, post so the profanity filter comes back:It's actually in the guidelines and has been there for years.

First Paragraph:
Member and Posting Guidelines
Do not use our Forums to post any material, or links to any material, which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Special exception to the restrictions on vulgarity and profanity are granted ONLY in the social forums. Additionally, special exception to the restriction on sexually oriented material is granted ONLY in the Love & Relationships forum.
Then there is rule 6)
6) Foul language in topic titles, summaries or sigs and excessive foul language is not permitted. With uncensored language comes an increased requirement for responsibility among users. Moderator discretion applies.
This applied to places where profanity is allowed, (social forums) but is there for people that use excessive profanity.
I used Aomei on the wife's laptop with a CD caddy.
Does anyone know if it's possible to "clone" one's existing HDD into a new drive that is attached to the system in a CDCADDY?
If so, what cloning software would work for this?
[I know it's common to clone from the HDD via a USB to a new drive, but can the cloning be done using the CDCADDY]????
-thanks
That is what I did with the SSD then moved the SSD to the boot area. It took on the drive letter of the CD. Do the same with a HHD.
Jim
NO. Do not clone a platter disc to a SSD. Migrate to the SSD. A decent SSD will provide that software.
