Here's what my system will be running once I get all the parts...

Antec KS282 (mid-tower)
Antec PP303X (300W)
Socket A mobo
Duron 700 Mhz
2 x 128 MB RAM DIMMs
GeForce2 MX
40 GB HD @ 7200 RPM
NIC
SB Live

There is already a compartment for a fan on one of the sides, any suggestions with what to fill it with? Besides this, what do you recommend for cooling? I don't plan on adding/changing any of the parts anytime soon, but I may look into overclocking the CPU and video card. Are the slot coolers any good?

Thanks a lot for your help!

I have the same case. you can add two more fans - one in the bottom front and one in the middle back. you'll have to use 80mm fans.

my recommendation for cooling: you would probably want a blowhole (http://www.hardocp.com/articles/cooling/blowhole/howto/howtoblowhole-pg1.html) on the side of your case in front of the cpu. in that article, it recommends making a hole. My dad did that for me using a 3in holesaw...the result wasn't good at all. after 1 min, the holesaw became dull immediately - and we weren't going to sink in another $12 for a holesaw. we eventually cut out the hole. then I wanted another one - we used a drill this time. basically, we drilled a bunch of little holes in a square shape about 92mm on each side to accomadate the 92mm intake fan.

Thanks! Also, could you recommend any brands/sites for ordering the 80mm fans?

Thanks again!

if you have the room in your case, you could get the new massive cardcooler from http://www.thecardcooler.com .
It cools all of your cards, and your CPU/RAM.

over at tweak3d.net they noticed a 10 degree drop in CPU temp. Not bad.

I'm confused about these card coolers... are they actually cards with fans on them or do they simply attach to current cards. How many would I need to get to cool my system. Also which card should I get? And how do I know if I need a 3-pin or 4-pin one? (I'm assuming I'm 4 pin.) Thanks a lot for your help guys!

teh cardcooler wouldn't be too effective in your computer case. the cardcooler is just a big fan - it is mounted parallel to the side of your case: it's mounted upright so that the sides of the fan is pointing forward, up, down and backwards. bad description...but I don't know how else to describe it. perhaps someone will have a picture. the reason it won't be effective b/c if you mount close to the cpu and cards, it'll just blow air onto the side of the case - there are holes on the side but they are in the front so it won't help. instead of the cardcooler, get a slotcooler. http://www.2cooltek.com.

also, you should get a 4 pin fan. it'll connect to your plugs coming from the power supply. 3 pin ones connect to the motherboard...and the mobo has only a limited number of connectors.
