Please recommend a Athlon mobo for SDRAM

My friend's MSI K7T Pro is going bad, and she needs a replacement. What is the best budget mobo for Athlon's and SDRAM? This mobo will need to be stable as well. Thanks!

I'd recommend the ECS K7S5A, very nice board, and can take DDR ram if you want to upgrade later 🙂

I really liked my Epox 8KTA3 board; very stable, and very tweakable. I think there's one in the FS forum fairly cheap.

several good ones mentioned already, however you might want to consider the Iwill KK266, a excellent board, and now much less expensive than in the past.
good onboard sound , stable, all the OC features, even has an ISA slot for that older device you may want to use.

I second the iwill KK266. onboard sound is great for my purposes. it is a very stable board. no problems with it. geting close to a year old.
I think it benchmarkks well too.

im about to make it a linux box and upgrade to ddr myself.

I'll second and third the A7V133 🙂

May not exactly be "budget", but will last a good long time and run superbly..

Do you mean using pc133? I have an MSI K7T Turbo w/raid. I bought it because Anand gave it such high praise and I am very pleased with this board. I don't really know about the A7V133, I have an A7V and I like it, but I think if I was to buy a board today I might just pick up one of those ECS boards and see what it is all about. 🙂
