Please recommend a 20" or so widescreen lcd that is height adjustable for ~$250

That's a pretty hard find for a decent quality one.

Hanns-G has a few monitors that are 19" widescreen on sale.

Other than that Viewsonic, Acer, and Samsung have a few.
