Please recommend a 13" ultra notebook

I'm looking for a 13.3~ inch ultra notebook for my wife.
Requirements:

Must have a fast WiFi
most specs as ultra notebook less than 3 lbs
Win 7 with USB 3.0
good battery life >3 hrs
Don't care much about resolution since it will be used mostly for surfing the net and her facebook
SSD 120 to 128 gb
4 gb ram or more
DVD or blu-ray disc player is not a requirement

Price range is around $1,300. or less. I really don't need a fast processor but the faster wifi is a must. Weight is also a must since her bones aren't doing well with her current laptop which weighs around 7 lbs. 13 inch or larger screen will help out since her eyesight are not that great either.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you need to worry about having a DVD drive on an ultrabook.

I think you should give the toshiba ultrabook some consideration considering your planned usage:

Resolution isn't an issue, and it happens to be close to half a pound lighter than the other 13 inch ultrabooks. Not ideal, but you can save a decent bit of money and buy her some jewelry instead.

Series 9 came out before "Ultrabooks." IMO they look better than most other Ultrabooks. There are some complaints of lousy WiFi performance, but don't know if Samsung fixed the issue.

I have played with this in a store. Didn't like the aesthetics. Your wife might find it nice, though.

I owned the ux31 and returned it because the keyboard was mechanically flawed--short throw+stiff action caused multiple missed letters *per sentence*. I then tried the macbook air and installed win7. Worked great, was everything I needed. Was just slightly too expensive. I haven't tried any of the other ultrabooks, but my opinion is basically: unless you can't afford it, why not just get the best, which is the MBA. HTH.

Go for one of Lenovo ultrabooks. Very high quality! Very stiff chassis. Great construction from my perspective.
