Ok, I have an Abit KT7A and a Sound Blaster Live + MP3 5.1 I know about the conflict. Here is what I have done soo far. Put the sound card in the 4th pci slot starting from the one next to my AGP. Downloaded the most recent VIA drivers, 4.32 I think. Downloaded the most recent Live + MP3 5.1 drivers from www.creativelabs.com. Problem is my computer continues to lock up several times a day. I need solutions bad. I heard SB Live eats up IRQ addresses. Would this help?? How could i designate some for my card. Aslo upgrade the bios?? Where could i get the upgrade files and how do i install them. Any other Ideas please let me know i appreciate them!!! Thanks.

It's most likely not a IRQ conflict problem because you should be using ACPI and pretty much every PCI or AGP device should be sharing the same IRQ. If you installed the LiveWare, get rid of it. That can definitely screw up your computer. Just install the basic drivers from creative. You should also try moving the sound card around in all the different pci slots. Goto www.abit-usa.com and download the newest BIOS update. It comes as EXE so all you have to do is run that.
