try those LinkExchange banners. also, what's your website all about? if it's boring or if the content is not updated often, then don't count on any return visits.

Rule of thumb: Don't waste your time submitting your site unless you have some content. I know it's exciting making your first site and all, but no ones gonna visit it unless you have something that keeps people coming back. All i see is a cat, a dog, and some C++ programming. The images on your navbar dont even show up. Get some interesting ish up there and people will visit it.
