Ok, I have an Abit KT7A and a Sound Blaster Live + MP3 5.1 I know about the conflict. Here is what I have done soo far. Put the sound card in the 4th pci slot starting from the one next to my AGP. Downloaded the most recent VIA drivers, 4.32 I think. Downloaded the most recent Live + MP3 5.1 drivers from www.creativelabs.com. Problem my computer continues to lock up several times a day. I need solutions bad. I heard Live eats up IRQ addresses. Would this help?? How could i designate some for my card. Aslo upgrade the bios?? Where could i get the upgrade files and how do i install them. Any other Ideas please let me know i appreciate them!!! Thanks.
